Who we are
Waxhaw's first and only Aveda salon.
LuLu Salon was built on a simple belief: great hair starts with a real conversation. We're a women-owned, family-run, unisex luxury boutique on North Broome Street, with an all-women team, bringing more than 30 years of combined experience in hair design to downtown Waxhaw.
Lusine, our creative hair designer, trained and worked in Hamburg, Germany, before graduating from the Aveda Institute in Charlotte. That blend of European precision and Aveda's wellness-first philosophy shapes every appointment.
We're proud to be an independent Aveda salon, working with Aveda's plant-based professional color and haircare.

What to expect at LuLu
- A consultation first. Every appointment starts with a conversation. For big changes, you can request a free consultation before you book.
- Upfront pricing. Our menu lists starting prices by stylist level, and your price is confirmed before any service begins.
- An Aveda ritual. Women's and men's haircuts include an Aveda head massage and shampoo.
- Everyone is welcome. We're a unisex salon, with children's cuts for ages 5 and under.
- We make it right. If you're not happy with your color or cut, tell your stylist within 3 days and we'll fix it. See our policies.
